Shortly after arriving in Oregon in the Summer of 2008, Bill acquired a large cache of rare and exotic wood from the Pacific Northwest.  Primarily Maple, and Myrtle in the form of milled planks and boards.   Most of these with at least one natural freeform edge.  Massive, freeform Redwood root burl slabs.   Curly Redwood flattened and sanded smooth on one side, freeform grain on the other.  In the round drift wood pieces of Cedar and Redwood, suitable for table bases.  We also have  small to medium sized pieces suitable for turning or carving projects.  Bill has already finished several beautiful pieces to show what can be done with this extraordinary wood.  These are shown in the following slide show pages.

Bill & Fabricated Coelacanth,   circa 1994.  Click on the image to see all the Sculpture and Stained Glass Albums.  These are arranged by subject matter first.   There is a separate album for Rebecca’s Stained Glass.  And another album devoted to the Exotic Wood that we are working with.  All work in these albums done by Bill & Rebecca Hunt.  You will find other Artists  and my Bio below.
